The Goal — and an Honest Plan
We want cost to never be the reason a kid can't play. Grants help get us there, but they're a floor — realistically ~15–25% of our budget. The bigger, more reliable lever is a corporate sponsorship program that renews every year. So this playbook does both: win the easy equipment grants, and build sponsorships + donors as the real base. Grants reduce what our neediest families pay; sponsorships fund the program.

JrPacers / Legal Docs / IRS Determination Letter for 501c3.pdf. - Text Bobby this week: send the FY2023 990-EZ + a signed W-9 — both are needed before we can submit Delaware County Foundation (cycle opens June 15, due July 31).
- Kevin/Chris, before any submission: confirm our mailing address matches IRS records (currently 278 Tar Heel Dr) — a mismatch fails funder verification.
- June 22 meeting: approve the sponsorship tiers + add a "Free/Reduced Lunch?" checkbox to fall registration.
