Walmart Spark Good (Local Grants)

Small, fast, local. The Delaware Walmart can award a community grant to a 501(c)(3) in its zip code. Short application, quick turnaround, store-level relationship.

$250–$5,000  Next cycle ~Aug 1

The Move

Register a Spark Good (Deed-verified) account, then apply to the Delaware, OH Walmart for an equipment or scholarship grant. It's a short form, not an essay. Cycles run a few times a year — Cycle 3 opens around Aug 1.

How to Apply

  1. Go to walmart.com/nonprofits and create a free Spark Good account (verified through Deed — needs our EIN + 501(c)(3) status).
  2. Search for the Delaware, OH store and start a Local Grant request (must be in the store's zip area — we are).
  3. Ask for a specific use: uniforms, safety equipment, or registration-fee scholarships. Keep it concrete and local.
  4. Submit during an open cycle. Fast turnaround; store managers have discretion.

Tip

Spark Good verification (via Deed) also unlocks other corporate giving + lets supporters round-up donations to us at checkout. Worth setting up once even beyond this grant.
